Torchlight Walk - Update

Hi Folks!

For those planning to attend tonight's event, we wanted to give you a little information.

We have two trails set up. The first is a 1.1 km Forest trail. It's well packed and sheltered from the wind. For those that are looking for a longer experience, there is a second loop, the Field Trail, that adds to the total distance making for a 2.3 km walk.

While both trails are fine to walk in boots, with this week's snow and some drifting from the wind, the Field Trail is a little loose packed. We would recommend snowshoes or skis for that trial to make an easier go but, again, boots still work fine.

Remember to dress for the weather. The wind in the valley will make it feel a few degrees cooler.

There is limited parking at the Manitou but you can park along the Glen road if needed. Just please park to the side (one side only!) as not to limit circulation.

We have a small campfire and some hot chocolate to warm you up and we'll see you anytime after 6pm.
